An accomplished attorney, Jayla R. Lombardo, Esq., brings more than a decade of experience in the legal profession to Lacy Katzen. In 2022, she founded Lombardo Law PLLC in Hilton, New York, where her practice centered on civil and real estate litigation.
Lombardo’s experience includes engaging with clients through multiple channels, resolving complaints, negotiating settlement agreements, and representing clients in court. Prior to establishing her firm, she developed a strong litigation foundation at Adams Bell Adams PC and Davidson Fink LLP. Lombardo also completed internships with the New York State Attorney General’s Office in Buffalo and the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office.
A strong commitment to community involvement and professional leadership defines Lombardo’s career. In the past, she volunteered as part of the Young Professionals Board for the Village of Hope and as the Vice President for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s Young Professional Advisory Board. She is currently a member of the Greater Rochester Association of Women Attorneys and served as Community Service Co-Chair as the Teen Court Liaison for several years. In addition, Lombardo started a library program for Alternatives for Battered Women and is a co-founder of the Love, Lorenzo Memorial Foundation, which assists loss-parents in memorializing a child.
Scholarly contributions include authoring “Prisoner-on-Prisoner Sexual Harassment: The Prevalence, Severity, and Lack of Legal Recourse,” which was published by the Buffalo Journal of Gender Law and Social Policy. Her commitment to professional excellence was recognized in 2012 with the Law Student Bar Association Achievement Award from the New York State Bar Association. In 2023, Lombardo presented a CLE for the Monroe County Bar Association titled “Litigating the Real Estate Contract.”
