With more than a decade of legal experience, Karl E. Kolkmann, Esq., has been named a Partner at Lacy Katzen. His practice focuses on creditors’ rights law and civil litigation, representing banks, credit unions, and other creditors in the collection of consumer and commercial debts.
Kolkmann also represents property owners and managers in landlord-tenant matters, and financial institutions in default servicing issues. He is known for his practical approach and consistent results on behalf of clients.
Before joining Lacy Katzen LLP, Kolkmann practiced as an associate at a creditors’ rights and
real property firm, where he focused on loan collateral recovery and restructuring secured loans.
Kolkmann is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Monroe County Bar Association. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Nazareth College of Rochester in 2008 and his Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from Albany Law School of Union University in 2012. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2013.
Originally from Buffalo, Kolkmann resides in Rochester with his wife and two daughters.
