How long have you been practicing law?
I have been admitted since June 2022.
Why did you become an attorney?
I wanted to be an attorney since I was a kid, and this inspiration came from watching my mother work as a paralegal. We would often do our “homework” together and she demonstrated what hard work looked like, and this is something I carry with me in my practice.
What was your career before becoming an attorney?
I was a member of the United States Secret Service Uniform Division, Special Operations Section stationed at the White House. I protected the White House and the President, Vice President, foreign dignitaries, diplomats, military senior staff, Supreme Court Justices, and members of Congress during official functions and tours at the White House.
Who or what has influenced you the most when it comes to your approach to work?
My time in the Secret Service, especially the long hours, arduous work, and time away from family, reminds me each day that it is a privilege to get to practice law at Lacy Katzen LLP and return home in the evening to see my family. It keeps me motivated, engaged, and prepared for my clients. I am also influenced by my family, who have always demonstrated the importance of hard work and commitment to helping others.
What is the most exciting thing that has happened to you in the last six months?
I got married to my wife Lauren in August 2023 and it was the best day of my life.
What hobbies do you have?
I enjoy weightlifting, reading, spending time with my family, and playing video games while I am not practicing law.
